Fancy Crafty

This poem just came up in my mind and I am happy for getting a perfect score. Thank you Miss! :D

My eyes are currently roaming inside my four-cornered room. All lights were put off by my parents, telling me to grow up already and to not be afraid of darkness and monsters. "Monsters live in inside your head, don't let them overpower you. Remember it is your body. You're the one who is in control of your own thoughts and feelings," that's what Papa and Mama said everytime I share my frightening experiences with ghosts and monsters. They never believe me, although I am trembling in so much fear. Auggie Roswell is my name. I am 4 years old only. I am petite and have curly brown hair. I don't have any sibling that's why I'm all alone in my bedroom. Tiktok.. Tiktok.. It is already quarter to 12 yet my eyes are still wide open as I am being paranoid that someone will appear right in front of my face. I'm hiding half of my face with my blanket. I can hear the crickets chirping outside my window. Shadows forming on the wall because of streetlights...

This picture is from Mindanao Times Editor. I was not able to take a picture the time I visit Sm Lanang because I did not know that I will be needing it today for our final activity in Contemporary Arts. The exhibit was totally beautiful, it awed not only me but all those people who also took a look at every paintings and artwork. I hope I can also make some art piece as wonderful as those in the exhibit.

Finally I am done. This activity gave me hard time yet I enjoyed doing it especially when I realized that this is our last activity for the summer class :D

This was our first activity entitled Elements of Visual Arts. Our goal is to use all the elements of visual arts in one artwork only. These are the line, color, texture, values, forms, space and shape. I got a perfect score and well hooray! I always love visual arts. I enjoy looking every painting and drawing that catches my sight whenever I go, so maybe sometimes it is easy for me to do my own artwork.

According to the internet, Surrealism is a cultural movement that began in the early 1920s, and is best known for its visual artworks and writings. The aim was to "resolve the previously contradictory conditions of dream and reality into an absolute reality, a super-reality".Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic precision, created strange creatures from everyday objects and developed painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself. I know in myself that my output is not that perfect but well I got a perfect score hahaha. Maybe because Miss Cosare considered our level (only a student not a professional painter) in giving us points for the Surrealism Activity.

These are my papers. Well I think I did pass in every activity we had, so I will try my best to do better in the upcoming quizzes and exams.

Miss Cosare, our teacher in Contemporary Arts gave us an activity. It is to compose our own song and sing it in front of the class. Well, it was not easy to do since I do not have any passion for composing music hahaha. So Daphne and I tried very hard just to be able to present something on that day. This is what we got: CRITERIA Melody - 3 Content - 3 Harmony - 3 Collaboration - 2 All in all we got 11 out of 16. It was alright for me, for I know in my self that I am not that good in that field hahaha.
